Murias of the West comes from the ancient Celtic magical tradition, though its root, mar, mur, or mer, can be found in many European or Latin based languages, all pertaining to water. It’s synonymous with the mythologies of other sunken cities including Atlantis and Lemuria. As the legend goes, Murias’ submersion is thought to be associated with the great biblical flood. This sunken city has been inhabited by humans as well as merpeople. Murias’ spires are carved from massive trees, and sealed with their own resin, so the city remains sealed, like time capsule, even below the ocean.
